The train cars will be made of aluminum, with traction and control systems provided by the Turkish company Aselsan. The train will meet European TSI standards.
By the end of this year, eight such trains are planned for production. These electric trains have been ordered by the Gaziantep municipality for the Gaziray line, with a contract value of 47 million euros.
The manufacturer emphasizes that this rolling stock is a completely national development.

As part of efforts to advance Turkish capabilities in railway manufacturing, serial production of regional electric trains and electric locomotives has already begun, and work is underway on developing a high-speed train capable of reaching speeds of up to 225 km/h.
