Outbound Rail Services for Aston Villa Fans

Rail companies in the West Midlands recommend supporters travel early and secure tickets in advance. Because the match kicks off at 5:15 p.m., return options will be reduced, especially if the game runs into extra time.

London Northwestern Railway and Avanti West Coast will operate services from Birmingham New Street to London Euston, allowing for easy transfers to Wembley via local lines.

Chiltern Railways offers direct trains from Warwick Parkway to Wembley Stadium, with stops at Leamington Spa and Banbury. However, no services will depart from Birmingham Moor Street, Solihull, Dorridge, Hatton, Lapworth, or Warwick.

Free parking will be available at Warwick Parkway, Leamington Spa, and Banbury to support those driving to departure stations.

Return Journey Advice for Aston Villa Supporters

Fans returning after the match will face limited services due to the evening schedule. Fewer trains will run back to the West Midlands, and seat availability may be tight.

Rail operators recommend returning on Sunday, 27 April, when a wider range of services will operate. This option ensures a less stressful journey home.

Lucy Wootton, Head of the Grand Railway Collaboration, stated that while Aston Villa’s appearance at Wembley is exciting for the region, fans should prepare for travel challenges.

Final train timetables will be available online later this week, so fans should monitor updates and adjust their plans accordingly.
