Via Rail Canada re-launched the Canada Strong Pass, through which families and young travelers are able to purchase economic fares for their journeys from December 12th to January 15th.

The offer targets passengers who have paid for Escape and Economy fares between the dates of October 27, 2025, and January 15, 2026. In the offer, children and teens aged 17 years and below are free to travel accompanied by an adult using the CANADAFAM discount code.

Persons between the ages of 18 and 24 years old are eligible for a discount of up to 25 percent off the ticket price after using the discount coupon CANADA1824 during the process of booking the trip. All the information required for the discount can be found on the Via Rail Canada website.

Via Rail Canada Offers Flexible Booking and Refund Options

Passengers who got their tickets before the announcement are eligible for a refund if their dates of travel are within the period for the Canada Strong Pass. The company said the requirements for the refund are the same conditions highlighted in the offer.
