This system accurately detects track defects without relying heavily on cloud connectivity, thus enhancing the reliability of inspections.

After successful trials on first-class railroads in North America, TrackEi is undergoing final testing at the certified MxV Rail center in Pueblo, Colorado, under the auspices of the Association of American Railroads (AAR).

Key Features of the TrackEi Platform for Railway Track Diagnostics

The computer vision technologies and neural networks embedded in TrackEi continuously learn from real-world infrastructure data. The powerful NVIDIA Jetson platform ensures fast image processing and compensates for lighting and weather conditions during inspections.

In addition, the system can be installed on locomotives, multiple unit trains, and specialized track inspection vehicles. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of railway operators.

How TrackEi Is Transforming Railway Track Monitoring?

Using TrackEi allows railway companies to detect rail cracks, track geometry issues, and other defects in advance, significantly reducing accident risks and maintenance costs.

The system was developed in partnership with NVIDIA, integrating cutting-edge AI algorithms into every stage of data processing.

L&T Technology Services emphasizes that the implementation of TrackEi opens new opportunities for railway digitalization and contributes to building a safer transportation infrastructure.
