The design of the track gauge template ShK 1520/8 allows for the measurement of railway track parameters on single-track and multi-track sections of main tracks, on station tracks, on switch points, in the area of passenger platforms, railroad crossings, railroad bridges, electrified sections of railway tracks, on tracks with rails of types P50, P65, P75, 60E1 (UIC60).
