Torpol has expanded its fleet with the Unimat 09-4 × 8/4S Dynamic universal tamping machine from Plasser & Theurer.

As emphasized in the company, it can perform work on laying tracks and switches in the vertical and horizontal planes with simultaneous stabilization of the track structure.

Torpol currently has three tamping machines from an Austrian manufacturer, but only one uses the same technology.

In the Unimat 09-4 × 8/4S Dynamic Plasser & Theurer used the tamping technology with the process of lifting 3 rails without support on the crushed stone bed and tamping 4 rails to repair diverging tracks.
