Thelo Group and DB Engineering & Consulting (DB E&C): New Strategic Partnership for Transport Corridor Development in Africa

Thelo Group, a leading African logistics company, has revised its partnership with DB Engineering and Consulting (DB E&C) Deutsche Bahn to focus on developing multimodal transport corridors across Africa, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

According to their new strategic plans, Thelo Group will operate independently, with DB E&C acting as their technical partner providing engineering and consulting services.
Ronnie Ntuli, Chairman of Thelo Group, emphasized the importance of multimodal and multi-user approaches aimed at reducing transportation and logistics costs through economies of scale.
These corridors will support the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), promoting intra-African trade and enhancing transport infrastructure development.
Thelo Group is also actively involved in major projects, including railway line developments across various African countries, underscoring their strategic importance in the region.
