Repair works on the railway line leading to the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan border will be carried out in stages.

In the first stage, the infrastructure along a 57-kilometer stretch of the railway between the stations ‘Naibabad’ and ‘Hairatan’ is planned to be restored.

‘Uzbek Railways’ has already deployed 120 of its employees to Afghanistan.

Previously, LogiStan reported that Uzbekistan would repair the railway in Afghanistan at a 50% discount.
