“Ukrzaliznytsia” has successfully transformed the procurement system for the industry and implemented anti-corruption measures, which allowed them to form a 60-day supply of diesel fuel, according to the railway portal Railway Supply.

The Chairman of the Board, Yevhen Liaschenko, announced that thanks to direct contracts with foreign manufacturers, including Orlen and ExxonMobil, Ukrzaliznytsia is provided with fuel for uninterrupted operation of the railway industry.

The company focuses on valuable commodity groups, particularly electricity, diesel, and natural gas, where they are combating corruption and achieving cost savings.

The head of the company, Yevhen Liaschenko, noted that the completion of the procurement process is planned for this month.

Additionally, Ukrzaliznytsia actively utilizes its own capacities for the production of necessary products for railway operations.

This allows the company to save approximately 93.5 million hryvnias compared to purchasing from external suppliers.
