The Transport Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider a bill on railway transport in February

The Transport Committee of the Verkhovna Rada intends to consider the draft law on railway transport, and to submit it to the Parliament in March.
This became known from the published work plan of the committee for February-July 2022, informs Railway Supply magazine, citing the media.
Also in February, the committee will consider a draft law on amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine to increase liability for interference in the activities of railway transport.
Draft Code of Railway Transport was adopted in Moldova
Earlier the head of the railway subcommittee, Artem Kovalev, said that by the end of 2021, a new version of the draft law on railway transport would be submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada.
In general, the law is planned to be adopted in the spring of 2022. However, the committee will consider the 2019 draft, and there is no new version on the Parliament website yet.
