The transit cargo flow through Iran has increased, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Iran reported that the transit cargo flow across the country for the 8 months of 2023 (from March 22 to November 21, according to the Iranian calendar) has reached 9.4 million tons, marking a 28.2% increase compared to the same period the previous year.

During the period from October 22 to November 21 alone, it amounted to 541 thousand tons, a 6.84% increase.
The volumes of oil and other cargo exports through Iran from March to November 2023 have increased by 48.7% and 20.8%, respectively.
