The total cost of enemy wagons and cargo exceeds UAH 17 billion

The Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine estimated the total cost of the wagons of the Russian Federation and Belarus, as well as the cargo in there.

It is noted that 17.8 thousand wagons belonging to the subjects of the Russian Federation and Belarus were found. 1 625 of these are with cargo.

“These wagons were arrested and transferred in accordance with the decision of the investigating judge to Ukrzaliznytsia JSC for safekeeping with the right to commercial use of these wagons, possession and disposal of funds received from the commercial use of such wagons, for any needs arising during the implementation of economic activities “, the message says.

According to the decision of one of the district courts of Kyiv, 470 wagons with raw materials “potassium” and “coke”, belonging to enterprises of the Russian Federation and Belarus, were arrested within the specified criminal proceedings. The estimated cost of this product is UAH 650 million.

According to preliminary estimates of BEB employees, the total cost of inventory in 1 625 wagons is approximately UAH 3 billion, the cost of all wagons is estimated at UAH 15 billion.

“Further measures are being taken to inspect and establish the actual presence of goods and their ultimate owners in order to further resolve the issue of seizing the goods,” the BEB specified.

As previously reported, the Office of the Prosecutor General seized 17.8 thousand railcars of the Russian Federation and Belarus.
