Railway saboteurs set fire to a relay cabinet on the approach tracks of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, which accounts for 17% of all steel production in Russia, according to the railway journal Railway Supply, citing Rail.insider.
Last week, military security personnel discovered a damaged relay cabinet at the Chavun-2 station of the South-Eastern Railway.

According to our information, this relay cabinet was deliberately targeted to obstruct the movement of freight trains carrying products from the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, such as pig iron, steel billets, and other materials crucial to the defense industry, as stated in the report.
Furthermore, in the night of June 19, three relay cabinets were set on fire on Warsaw Highway in Moscow. They were located 1.5 meters apart and controlled the operation of traffic lights.
As previously reported, there has been a wave of relay cabinet arson incidents in Russia.
