The railway car factory in Uzbekistan produced 32 and repaired 319 cars in a year

The Tashkent railway car repair plant plans to launch the production of metro cars and components for electric locomotives throughout 2024, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The plant’s capacity allows for the production of up to 50 passenger cars and the overhaul of up to 450 passenger cars per year.

Currently, the plant has mastered the production and modernization of 16 types of passenger and service-technical cars. Based on cooperation, 70% of the components are localized.
The products of the railway car factory are supplied not only to the domestic market of Uzbekistan but also to other countries.
