This contract secures up to 20 Elf 3 trains, which include two four-car and three three-car units in the main order. An optional addition of 15 more trains is also available. The total cost exceeds PLN 797 million (€186 million), with partial funding provided by the European Union.

Elf 3 electric trains can reach speeds of up to 160 km/h, reducing travel times significantly. The first delivery, consisting of two four-car units, will occur within 40 months of the contract signing. Full completion of the main order will follow within 48 months.
