The operation of 5 new stations on the Cairo Metro Line 3 has commenced

The Egyptian National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) has started the trial operation of 5 new stations on the Cairo Metro Line 3, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
These new stations are located in Wadi Al-Nil, Al-Taufik, Gameat Al-Deval, Bulak Al-Dakrur, and Cairo University.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Sviridenko, visited the LLC ‘KIEVGUMA.’
The third line of this development plan covers 17.7 kilometers in total and includes a total of 15 stations.
In October 2022, authorities ceremoniously opened four additional stations, namely Nasser, Maspero, Safaa Hegazy, and Al Kitkat.
Once construction is completed, Cairo Metro Line 3 will connect eastern and western Cairo, spanning 17.7 kilometers and serving 15 stations (8 underground, 5 elevated, and 2 at ground level).
