The occupiers have created the “railways of novorossiya” ‘enterprise’

Russian invaders have announced the establishment of a ‘state enterprise’ that is supposed to ‘manage’ a part of the railway located in the temporarily occupied territories. This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply, citing Rail.insider.

The “railways of novorossiya” are intended to manage the infrastructure and transportation in the occupied parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions. The main office of the ‘enterprise’ will be located in temporarily seized Donetsk.

“The decision will allow for the development of unified logistics in these four regions, the renewal of the fleet of wagons and locomotives, as well as the creation of a unified management system for the transportation process,” the statement notes.

Employees of the “enterprises” Donetsk Railway, Luhansk Railway, Kherson Railway, Melitopol Railway, and the “Donbass Railways Concern” will be automatically transferred to work in the new “enterprise”.

On March 15, 2022, the Law of Ukraine No. 2108-IX “On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Establishment of Criminal Liability for Collaborative Activities” came into effect. It is aimed at addressing one of the most important issues that Ukraine has faced – the issue of banning collaborationism.

The amendments introduced to Article 55 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine provide for punishment, which includes the deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities as a primary or additional punishment for committing criminal offenses against the foundations of Ukraine’s national security for a period of ten to fifteen years with confiscation of property.

We would like to draw attention to the fact that only Ukrainian Railways exist on the territory of Ukraine! We ask all Ukrainian railway workers who find themselves in temporarily occupied territories to sabotage and not comply with the orders of the occupying authorities!
