The number of overhauls of UZ wagons in July increased by 78%

In July 2021, the number of overhauled freight cars owned by JSC Ukrzaliznytsia increased to 488 units.

This is almost double the number repaired in June (273 wagons) and four times the number in the corresponding month last year (103), informs Railway Supply magazine.

At the same time, the number of overhauled wagons of other owners also increased. If in June 340 of them were updated, then in July this number reached 407 units.

Ukrzaliznytsia increased tariffs for freight transportation

At the same time, the average duration of major overhauls increased slightly. For UZ cars, this figure was 63.6 days in July, for cars of other owners – 27.3 days.
