The new head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Alexander Pertsovskyi, was appointed for three years. He will lead the company’s modernization efforts. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed the new head of Ukrzaliznytsia for a three-year term. Alexander Pertsovskyi has taken on the role. Previously, the position was held by Yevhen Lyashchenko, who will remain on the board but in a different role. It is important to note that Lyashchenko has served as the head of Ukrzaliznytsia since March 2023 and continued in this position until recently.
Additionally, several board members were relieved of their duties. This decision was linked to the need for leadership renewal. The new head of Ukrzaliznytsia will face important tasks related to modernization and the development of the company’s passenger services.
