The Japanese SPACIA X train from Hitachi has won the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2024

The train connects Tokyo with the tourist cities of Nikko and Kinugawa, as reported by the company “NPO A.T.O.R.,” a leader in comprehensive supply for passenger carriages, electric trains, and socially oriented transport.
Under the contract signed with Hitachi Rail in 2021, the operator is set to receive four six-car trains.
The maximum speed is 120 km/h.
The train has 212 seating places in six different configurations, including seats in individual compartments and in a bar car.
