The Iranian group Mapna has announced a 10-year cooperation agreement for potential wagon deliveries to a Polish company that plans to place them in Eastern Europe, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.

Wagon Pars plans to export to Europe

The agreement, announced on September 27, is the result of a year-long negotiation with an undisclosed Polish company that, according to Mapna Group, is actively involved in the metalworking and railway transport sectors.

It is expected that, after certification by the European Railway Agency, the Mapna Group subsidiary, namely Wagon Pars, will supply 100 transport units in the first year, 200 in the second year, and 300 wagons annually starting from the third year.

Mapna Group has stated that this will be the first European export for Wagon Pars, which previously supplied rolling stock to countries such as Bangladesh, China, Syria, Sudan, and Cuba and is now targeting international expansion.

Wagon Pars is an Iranian company specializing in the production of railway wagons and rolling stock. They manufacture various types of wagons, including freight, passenger, and specialized wagons. The company has the experience and technology to create railway transportation vehicles and supply them to markets both within Iran and beyond.
