The first section from Puyan to Zhengzhou opened to passengers in June 2022, and the construction of the second section, Jinan to Puyan, spanning 208 km, began in December 2019.

The total length of this new double-track high-speed expressway is 407 km, with 13 stations designed to enhance passenger convenience.

Operating at a speed of 350 km/h, this rail line connects the Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed rail lines, becoming part of China’s strategic high-speed rail network.

This significant improvement in transportation infrastructure facilitates faster and more efficient travel, contributing to economic development and enhancing connectivity between regions in the country.
