The head of the Belarusian Railway, Vladimir Morozov, has been included in the sanctions list
As a result of the European Union’s adoption of the 11th package of sanctions, the head of the Belarusian Railway, Volodymyr Mykhailovych Morozov, has been included in the sanctions lists, according to the Railway Supply portal, citing the Belarusian Railway Community.
The implementation of the new sanctions came into effect in connection with the war against Ukraine. The decision to adopt these measures was published in the official journal of the EU.

Within the framework of this sanctions package, restrictions have been imposed on the transportation of oil from Russia via the northern branch of the “Druzhba” oil pipeline. There are also limitations on the entry of Russian trailers into the European Union, as well as measures aimed at countering the circumvention of previously imposed restrictions.
Additionally, this sanctions package includes sanctions against certain individuals and organizations.
Vladimir Mikhailovich Morozov, the head of the Belarusian Railway, has been included in this sanctions list. The EU’s decision to include him is justified by Vladimir Morozov actively assisting in the transportation and deployment of Russian military equipment and personnel who have been and continue to be involved in military aggression against Ukraine.
Thus, Vladimir Morozov is an accomplice in the implementation of the bloody war conducted by Russia and bears responsibility for his role in supporting and carrying out actions that threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine.
