The first new trams for Warsaw are ready
The first two new trams for Warsaw are ready, their construction has been completed. The railcars were tested in the Republic of Korea, infroms Railway Supply magazine with reference to Nakolei Pl.
The trams will be transported by sea, and at the beginning of summer they will arrive in Warsaw. Another 121 trams will be assembled by the end of April 2023.
Newag starts production of new trains for Warsaw
With the new trams, Warsaw residents will be able to travel in low-floor, comfortable coaches that are friendly to all kind of passengers.
Today there are almost 530 trams running on the tracks of Warsaw. 59 percent of the tram fleet is low-floor cars. They will be joined by another 123 trams built by Hyundai Rotem.
