In early March, a four-car train was delivered to the Spanish island to the operator SFM, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Assembled at the site in Zaragoza, the train, which has been undergoing testing since the end of last year at the factory in Irune, will now undergo network testing before entering service, scheduled for June.

The launch of the remaining four trains is planned for September.
The contract, worth €54.6 million, signed in 2022, includes the delivery of 5 trains and their two-year technical maintenance.
90% of the procurement is financed by the REACT-EU program to rebuild the EU after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The trains are designed to operate at a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
They are based on rolling stock that CAF produced for the Spanish operator Euskotren, which operates on 1000 mm gauge rail networks.
The rolling stock with aluminum bodies consists of two motor and two intermediate trailer cars and can accommodate over 500 passengers.
