Kazakhstan Railways and Sianya Dry Port have initiated the development of a logistics terminal spanning 10 hectares in the former capital of Kazakhstan, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

They have decided to establish it on the premises of the cargo terminal of the company “Kedentransservice.”

Investors plan to build temperature-controlled warehouses covering an area of 1,400 square meters, as well as Class “A” warehouses for storing palletized and e-commerce goods, with an area of 36,000 square meters.

The project also includes the creation of a container yard spanning 12,000 square meters and the installation of a 50-ton electric gantry crane.
