The project’s cost is 321 billion tenge ($690.5 million). Subsequently, there are plans to connect the new railway to the “Semey-Aktau” section and the transit corridor “China-Europe.”

50,000 railcars will be transferred to the American industrial transport division ITE

The introduction of the “Bakhty-Ayagoz” railway is expected to ease congestion at the border railway stations of “Dostyk” and “Altynkol” and increase freight transportation between Kazakhstan and China by 20 million tons annually.
