Bosphorus Railway Project, agreed upon by Turkey and an investment fund, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.
Abu Dhabi and Turkey are in negotiations regarding the Bosphorus Railway Project, which is part of a trade corridor connecting Europe to the Middle East and Asia.

The railway will traverse the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, one of the longest and widest bridges of its kind in the world, built with a $3 billion investment during President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s tenure to link the European and Asian parts of Istanbul.
The railway is part of a series of potential agreements between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
In July of this year, the Abu Dhabi government pledged $51 billion in support of Turkey’s economy, which is currently recovering from earthquakes in February.
In a press release, the UAE government expressed hopes that trade with Turkey would double to $40 billion by 2030, with key sectors for investment including energy, logistics, tourism, and agriculture.
Thanks to its strategic location between Europe and Asia and control over access to the Black Sea, Turkey aims to become a vital part of the trade corridor linking London and Beijing.
The government in Ankara hopes to connect Gulf countries to its road and railway network.
