GMV will deploy public address, intercom, and video security systems built with proprietary technologies developed by it. These interconnected devices will enable quick reaction and clear information interchange under both routine functioning and emergencies.

Each train shall be equipped with a IP camera network linked with a digital video recorder (NVR), which shall provide real time viewability through touchscreen monitors at the control cabins. This shall enable the crews to monitor passenger safety while ensuring complete onboard comms without interruption.

Talgo Promotes Egypt’s Railway Renaissance

GMV’s MCG will send diagnostic information to centralized servers for permanent analysis of performance. This way, Egypt’s new long-distance trainers will have greater reliability, less maintenance expense, as well as greater service availability.

The alliance fortifies Talgo’s long-standing partnership with GMV, marrying Spain’s advanced engineering experience with cutting-edge digital advanced knowledge. Together, they sustain Egypt’s visionary program for upgrading passenger train travel and exchanging aging out-of-date rolls.

Egyptian National Railways will enjoy a more integrated fleet with effective data management and upgraded passenger comfort. Upgrading also helps towards Egypt’s overall sustainability and mobility objectives.

GMV, with business units across 35 nations, uses IoT, telecommunication, and GNSS technologies for optimizing worldwide transport activities. As a partner for Talgo, both are leaders of next-generation railways.
