The Polish company SKPL has obtained quick permission to launch trains to Ukraine. The new connection was initially planned to start in June but is now expected to open in the autumn, according to the railway journal Railway Supply, citing SKPL The Polish Rail Transport Authority has granted Stowarzyszenie Kolejowych Przewozów Lokalnych (SKPL) the permit to operate the route from East Warsaw to Hrubieszów (the border with Ukraine) and then to Rava-Ruska.
