Other major consortiums, such as Alstom, CRRC, Hitachi Rail, and Hyundai Rotem, also participated in the tender. The CAF consortium managed to offer the best value through highly efficient technologies and resource optimization.

One of the key elements of the contract was the construction of 28 driverless trains, which will improve the safety and reliability of the metro line. These trains meet the latest technological standards and ensure safe operation.

The project also includes advanced signaling and control systems, essential for smooth and safe train operations. These systems will help prevent delays and ensure consistent performance.

Additionally, the project covers the metro line’s power supply, which is crucial for uninterrupted operation. Modern communication systems will enable faster information transmission between stations.

The metro line will partially run underground, and 14 new stations are planned, improving transportation access for the city’s residents. This will play a critical role in infrastructure development.

A new depot will also be constructed, where the trains will undergo technical maintenance. This ensures long-term operation and high availability of the entire metro system.

Thus, the consortium involving CAF not only offered the most competitive price but also demonstrated high-quality technical solutions for metro line construction.
