Colmar SL230D is the most powerful traction module in SRT’s lineup. It is equipped with a 440 kW diesel engine, allowing it to tow trains weighing up to 4,600 tons. The traction effort is 230 kN, and the maximum speed reaches 31 km/h.

Expansion of SRT’s Portfolio After Acquiring Colmar Technik

In early 2025, SRT completed the acquisition of the Italian company Colmar Technik. As a result, SRT’s portfolio now includes battery and diesel traction modules with traction forces ranging from 16 to 230 kN. The company also acquired excavators, loaders, cranes, and various attachments.

Among the company’s recent deliveries are three electric shunters, SL16RC, SL32E, and SL50E, for the Korean operator Korail. Additionally, three diesel traction modules, SL90D, were supplied for the Tren Maya project in Mexico.

These deliveries confirm SRT’s success in the international market and its aim to expand its presence in various regions.
