TDI partners with British firm Eversholt Rail to promote the RVLR platform. Thus, they plan to boost their presence in the UK market.
Technical Details and Creation of Innovative Battery-Powered Trains
The RVLR stretches 18.9 meters and carries up to 56 passengers comfortably. Its top speed hits 104 kilometers per hour, which impresses experts.
Designers adopted a modular approach and lightweight materials for the RVLR build. For instance, they used carbon fiber and aluminum for body and roof.
A hybrid diesel-electric engine pairs with battery packs in the train’s setup. Plus, an energy recovery system kicks in during every braking moment.
The companies’ merger promises to hasten eco-friendly advancements in rail industry trends. Because this partnership blends expertise and resources of two market leaders.
