Škoda Expands RegioPanter Electric Trains Supply to Bulgaria
Škoda Group signed an agreement with Bulgaria’s Ministry of Transport to supply five additional RegioPanter electric trains. The €65.47 million deal includes technical maintenance services and personnel training for 15 years.

Benefits of RegioPanter Electric Trains on Northern Bulgaria’s Routes
The RegioPanter electric trains offer seating for 300 passengers and a maximum speed of 160 km/h. Modern air conditioning systems ensure a comfortable travel experience for all passengers.
Delivery will be completed by the end of 2026, with trains serving vital routes like Ruse – Varna, Varna – Gorna Oryahovitsa – Mezdra, and Sofia – Dragoman. These new trains will significantly reduce travel times and ease congestion.
