These trains will be equipped with all necessary amenities to ensure passenger comfort.

Each two-car train, with a length of 52.9 meters, will have 142 seats, while the three-car train, with a length of 79.5 meters, will have 228 seats.

Each set will include first-class compartments, multifunctional areas for bicycles, wheelchairs, and strollers, as well as restrooms adapted for people with limited mobility.

Additionally, standard restrooms will be installed in the three-car trains.

For passenger convenience, the trains will be equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi access points for internet connection, and electrical and USB outlets.

The trains will be capable of operating on either 3 kV DC or 25 kV AC overhead lines.

The two-car sets will feature four traction electric motors, each with a power of 340 kW, while the three-car sets will have six such motors.

The new rolling stock is scheduled to be introduced into service by the end of 2026.

The total annual mileage of the trains is expected to reach 3.3 million kilometers over 15 years.

RegioJet won the tender for these services at the end of November 2023.

The owner of RegioJet, Radim Jančura, noted that the operator intends to invest more than 4.5 billion Czech crowns (about 182 million euros) in updating the rolling stock over the next two years.

This includes not only the purchase of new trains but also the improvement of existing infrastructure to ensure a high level of passenger service.
