Škoda Group to Deliver New Trams and Extend Fleet for Tampere

Škoda Group signed a €70 million contract to supply 7 new ForCity trams to Tampere. The deal also includes maintenance for 10 years and extensions for 8 trams. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Modules will increase the length of 8 existing trams from 37 to 47 meters. These upgrades will help the city handle growing passenger traffic more effectively.
