Škoda finalized the delivery of 110 RegioPanter trains to Czech Railways by January 2025. This development significantly enhanced the quality of regional transportation across the country. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Škoda Group supplied 46 two-car trains, 60 three-car trains, and four battery-electric units. The 280 train cars collectively provide seating for 21,000 passengers, expanding capacity on key routes.
Advantages of Škoda Trains for Travelers
Škoda trains prioritize passenger comfort with features like Wi-Fi, ergonomic seats, USB ports, and power outlets. These modern trains meet the highest standards for accessibility and convenience.

In addition to climate control systems, the trains include designated areas for luggage, strollers, bicycles, and wheelchairs. This makes them suitable for all types of passengers, including those with limited mobility.
Škoda Drives Modernization of Czech Railways
Škoda introduced battery-electric trains to operate on non-electrified routes, particularly in the Moravian-Silesian Region. They achieve speeds of 120 km/h on batteries and 160 km/h under overhead wires.
The RegioPanter trains serve Central Bohemia, Zlín, and Olomouc, offering a seamless travel experience across urban and rural areas. They replace older rolling stock, aligning with modern safety and efficiency standards.
These new regional trains are comparable to long-distance services in terms of reliability and passenger comfort. Škoda has set a new benchmark for rail transportation with its advanced technologies and designs.
