SilverRail, a B2B rail technology company that allows any retailer to easily sell rail travel globally, is pleased to announce its integration with Google, which allows Google users to both search for and book rail tickets.

As part of a broader effort to incorporate sustainability into its platform, Google displays UK rail data in its search engine and then directs users to a retail website powered by SilverRail’s booking interface to purchase train tickets.

The integration of SilverRail with Google comes at a time when travelers are prioritizing eco-friendly journeys, companies are mandating employees to use rail transport to meet Net Zero goals, and the combination of high-speed rail and increased competition has made trains faster and cheaper across Europe.
