The ports processed 2.6 million twenty-foot equivalent units, marking a 3% increase over FY2024. Rail shipments between the Port of Charleston and inland facilities in Greer and Dillon climbed 4%, strengthening intermodal operations and boosting connectivity across the network.

SC Ports Sees Record Results at Inland Terminals

Inland Port Greer achieved its best year ever with 205,523 rail moves, up nearly 10% from FY2024. For the first time, Greer surpassed 200,000 moves, benefiting from its recent expansion that doubled capacity. Inland Port Dillon maintained steady growth, handling 33,838 rail moves and reinforcing its role in supply chain reliability.

SC Ports President and CEO Barbara Melvin highlighted the competitive advantage of efficient operations, saying the network provides quick access to the U.S. Southeast market.
