Sanctions block Belarusian exports worth $18 billion

As a result of the sanctions imposed due to the aggression against Ukraine, exports from Belarus to the EU and North America will decrease by $16-18 billion.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to Interfax.
“Western sanctions have blocked exports from Belarus to the countries of the European Union and North America in the amount of $16-18 billion a year,” the official said in an interview with Al-Arabia TV channel.
The head of the government of the “henchman of Russia” expressed the hope that Belarusian exports would be quickly redirected to the East.
“The intensification of work in all regions of Asia, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, and South America is of great importance in the current conditions,” said Roman Golovchenko.
As previously reported, due to sanctions, the export of potash fertilizers from Belarus and the Russian Federation fell by 20%.
