Sale of engineering company SYSTRA’s shares

French transport giants, SNCF and RATP, are set to transfer control of the engineering company SYSTRA to two investors: Latour Capital and Fimalac, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

These companies specialize in asset management and investments in promising enterprises.

The new owners plan to acquire 60% of SYSTRA’s shares, leaving 20% each to SNCF and RATP, subject to approval by the French regulator.
SYSTRA is a company with over 65 years of experience, providing support in implementing public transport projects and sustainable mobility worldwide.
Its team of 10.7 thousand employees works on projects in 80 countries.
Among them are the construction of the automated metro Grand Paris Express in Paris, the high-speed rail High Speed 2 in the UK, and the metro in Dubai.
Involving Latour Capital and Fimalac in the management of the company will allow SYSTRA to strengthen its position in the global market.
This also opens up new opportunities for implementing ambitious projects and continuing the company’s development in the field of transportation infrastructure.
