Since the beginning of the year, the production of freight cars in Ukraine has fallen by 53%

In the first four months, 586 freight cars were manufactured in Ukraine, which is 53% less than in the same period of 2020.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to Railinsider.
At the same time, the production data for April is classified, as well as the data for March.

In January-February, 184 freight cars were produced in Ukraine. That is, 402 cars have been produced over the past two months. Note that KVSZ produced 90 freight cars in April. In total, since the beginning of the year, the enterprise has produced 281 freight cars – a decline of 63.6%. Last year, 3241 freight cars were manufactured in Ukraine, which is 70.1% less than in 2019.
