Russian Railways will receive 125 universal railway platforms

Russian Railways will receive 125 universal railway platforms. The Yaroslavl Carriage Repair Plant “Remputmash” has manufactured 125 universal platforms PM-820 with unified removable equipment for transporting assembled rails.

The platforms have been tested and shipped to Russian Railways, which are planning to use them on the Krasnoyarsk, Sverdlovsk and West Siberian railways informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to Remputmash.
The PM-820 platform is designed for the transportation of materials and equipment during the repair of railway tracks, which makes it relevant for continuous production. Carrying capacity 63 tons, service life over 30 years. Unified detachable equipment on platforms is designed for transportation of assembled rails and sleepers, with rail lengths of 12.5 m and 25 m.
Russian flatcars received ERA certificate
Remputmash Group is a Russian manufacturer of track machines and technologies. The company includes six enterprises and six branches located in different cities of Russia, as well as 45 repair and service centers.
