On the evening of December 26, the enemy struck Kherson, damaging the station and Ukrainian Railways rolling stock, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

After stabilizing the situation around the station, passengers from the Kherson train were safely transported to Mykolaiv by buses and have now reached the capital.

Flights from Kramatorsk, Lviv, and Kyiv towards Kherson on December 27 will be diverted to Mykolaiv.

The company also reported injuries to several employees due to the enemy’s strike.

Later, the head of the Kherson Regional Administration, Alexander Prokudin, released a video showing Kherson’s railway station in the first minutes after the Russian attack, where over 100 people were waiting for an evacuation train.

Two civilians received shrapnel injuries, receiving necessary medical assistance.

A police lieutenant from Kirovohrad Oblast, responsible for evacuating people, was killed by the Russians, along with two of his colleagues, who are currently hospitalized.

Earlier reports mentioned a conductor being wounded in a May attack on a train in Kherson by occupiers.
