Russia attacked the building of the children’s railway in Kharkiv

During the shelling on January 8th, Russia struck the building of the ‘Malaya Yuzhnaya’ children’s railway in Kharkiv, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
During a national telethon broadcast, the Mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, reported that as a result of the air attack on January 8th, the buildings of a vocational-technical school and the ‘Malaya Yuzhnaya’ children’s railway were destroyed. Two residents of Kharkiv were injured in the morning shelling.
“The ‘Malaya Yuzhnaya’ Children’s Railway is a symbol of Kharkiv. Therefore, we will explore possibilities for the restoration of the damaged building,” emphasized Igor Terekhov.
At the same time, the mayor clarified that the top priority for the city is the restoration of residential buildings and ensuring residents with heating, water, and electricity supply.
As reported earlier, in 2022, Russia destroyed the ‘Lokomotiv’ railway sports complex in Kharkiv with a missile strike.
