After the repair is completed, the generator is reassembled and undergoes a series of tests on special stands. Its operation under load, compliance with parameters, and absence of defects are checked.

The repaired generator is installed on the locomotive, after which a comprehensive test of the entire power unit is conducted. This includes checking the interaction of the generator with the diesel engine and traction motors.
