05.12.2023
The 30 km railway line project, costing 4.9 million euros, includes the upgrade of track infrastructure, station repairs, and the installation of automatic barriers at crossings, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The section closed in 2013 will be restored due to the unsatisfactory condition of the infrastructure.
The Vouga line, connecting the cities of Aveiro and Espinho, is a key component of Portugal’s railway network.
