Owner of RegioJet Radim Jančura shared this information in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
“Yes, we employ Ukrainian refugees in our company. As stewards, they earn the same as their Czech colleagues, approximately 35,000 Czech crowns (1.4 thousand euros) gross. This is European law. Not every foreigner knows that they are entitled to the same salary as their Czech colleague,” Jančura informed.
“However, employees start with a lower salary in the position of assistant steward until they master the Czech language, which takes some three months or even longer for some. Typically, one steward serves three cars,” he explained.
