The automatic braking mode regulator 265A-1T (freight automatic mode) is designed to automatically adjust the pressure in the brake cylinder depending on the load of the wagons.

Freight automatic modes are designed for automatic adjustment of the pressure in the brake cylinder depending on the wagon load.

The presence of the automatic mode eliminates the need to manually switch brake modes of the wagon air distributors.

The automatic braking mode regulator 265A-1T is installed on freight wagons between the air distributor and the brake cylinder.

Railway freight automatic mode 265A-1T, with a pneumatic relay and a damping part, which changes the lever arm ratio depending on the wagon load, is used on railway freight wagons.

The mode relay is included in the air duct from the air distributor to the brake cylinder.

The damping part of the drive rests on a springless beam of the wagon truck and measures the deflection of the spring set depending on the load.

The damping piston dampens the transmission of vertical wagon vibrations to the mode drive.

Freight automatic modes on passenger rolling stock with pneumatic springs have a pneumatic drive and act depending on the pressure in the pneumatic spring.

The use of railway freight automatic mode allows to: eliminate manual switching from one mode to another, ensuring that such switching has not been performed; evenly distribute forces between wagons; reduce longitudinal forces during train braking and thus implement high tractive and braking forces; improve the traction and energy efficiency of the train.
