The company boasts an extensive fleet of locomotives, six proprietary depots, a substantial inventory of spare parts (with a €25 million investment), round-the-clock hotlines, and a well-established partner network of repair facilities across Europe.
“We see a positive local market environment and are investing in participating in the growing French railway transport leasing market with a clear intention to establish a high-quality organization in France before the delivery of the first locomotives in 2025.”
It’s worth noting that earlier this year, Railpool placed an order for 50 multi-system Alstom Traxx Universal locomotives.
Railpool is a leading railway transport leasing company founded in Munich in 2008, operating in 19 European countries.
The company’s fleet comprises 500 locomotives and 148 passenger cars, with a total investment volume of €2.1 billion.
As reported earlier, Railpool celebrated the official opening of its new company, Railpool Polska Sp. z o.o., in Poznań, Poland, in early February.
